The Annual Derry Railroad Day Festival will start off with at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 27th with a big parade. Free entertainment runs from 11:00 - 7:00 PM and will include musical groups and dancers, plus, this year we plan to have a local talent "Variety Hour" which should be great fun. Our downtown area will be filled with over 30 food, craft and information booths including all your favorite festival treats and eats, plus a wide assortment of medium-priced items such as jewelry, clothing, stained glass, pottery and much, much more. There will be chances for prizes and gift baskets plus a 50/50 drawing. We will have hay rides for the family and pony rides and miniature train rides for the kids. Children will love Juvenile Junction where they can make badges and crafts, plus get their face painted. Don't forget to visit our "2-Cabooses Railroad Museum" filled with interesting railroading artifacts. Our "Hobo Picnic" is back by popular demand this year too - it will be held the Thursday before our Railroad Day Festival.
